The goal of our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policy is to actively contribute to the performance and sustainability of IDEC, based on principles of ongoing improvement and sustainable development.

WE HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

It allows us to regularly assess our actions and performance.
We undertake to dedicate the resources necessary to make this system effective, namely:

  • by engaging and empowering staff throughout the organization
    by measuring the confidence of our customers and the compliance of our suppliers
  • by following legislation, regulations, standards and other requirements
  • by analyzing and preventing risks
  • by implementing a strategy of ongoing improvement of performance and cost reduction

Our QHSE policy is the top-level document that reflects the commitment of our top management to its intention of implementing the measures for achieving the quality and HSE targets and objectives.

IDEC  QHSE Policy

IDEC is committed to achieving Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) excellence in providing oilfield services, which include Drilling & Completion Fluids Products, Engineering Serivces, Solid Control, Waste Management.

PROVISIONS
In order to fulfill this commitment IDEC will:

  • Comply with industry and customer standards as well as all applicable laws, regulations, and other requirements in the countries in which we operate.
  • Ensure employees, and where appropriate, employee’s representatives, participate and are consulted in QHSE aspects of their work.
  • Eliminate hazards and reduce health and safety risks through the use of risk assessment and management activities and by providing employees with training and tools to work safely.
  • Minimize its impact on the environment through pollution prevention, reduction of natural resources consumption, emissions, and the reduction and recycling of waste.
  • Establish QHSE objectives impact with annual reviews to confirm that the quality, health and safety hazards and the environmental impact of our operations are minimized and managed responsibly.
  • Continually monitor and provide the necessary resources to improve the effectiveness of the QHSE Management System.

Employees at every level are responsible and accountable for IDEC overall QHSE initiatives.

Senior Management
IDEC senior management is responsible for ensuring that the QHSE Management System is established, promoted, and functions successfully. Has determined this QHSE Policy is appropriate to the purpose and context of the organization and supports its strategic direction.

Supervisors
Supervisors are responsible for providing and example for others by always directing and performing work in a safe manner, enforcing established QHSE procedures, regulations, and rules, and taking corrective actions as necessary to ensure compliance.

All Employees
All employees are responsible for following the “Life-Saving Rules”, participating in all QHSE programs, training, and practices established for the workplace, reporting hazards, working in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, and following applicable rules and regulations.

All employees are responsible for stopping unsafe work and situations to prevent injuries and illnesses, and to reduce environmental impact, property damage, and undesirable output regarding the quality of our services or products. Employees have the full support of management when using “Stop Work Authority.”
