Pumping & Mud Plant

The Liquid Mud Plant (LMP) is the Mud Treatment system, which is compose of the Mud Shaker, Mud Agitator, Mud Tanks, Jet Mud Mixer, Centrifugal Pumps. As the Liquid Mud Plant designer and supplier, IDEC customized Liquid Mud Plant for mixing, treating and storing according to the Project.

The Liquid Mud Plants are able to store and supply liquid chemicals such as Oil Base Mud, Base Oil and Water Mud to meet the demands for deep and ultra-deep offshore drilling activities. The Liquid Mud Plant is in place for one primary purpose and that is to keep good drilling mud properties in the wellbore as much as possible.

Within each drilling fluids supply base, you can usually find what “Mud” companies are working offshore from this base as they are represented in the form of a Liquid Mud Plant. This liquid mud plant is used to manipulate (mix, dilute, treat, adjust) various drilling fluids to be used in wells supported by this Supply Base. Offshore supply vessels are used to transport any drilling or completion fluids to and from the Liquid Mud Plant that cannot be mixed up or treated on location.

BARITE silos and bulker

There are different types of Barite silos which generally come equipped with an electronic weighing system with digital display and printer. This allows any quantity of Barite or powder discharged from the silo to be controlled and also provides an accurate indication of what remains inside the cement silo. The Barite Silo along with the Weigh Batch Blender is designed to mix bentonite, barite, etc. for oilfield use. Based on our Projects needs we provide silos depending on the bulk plant requirement.

  • The pressure silo is designed to store, bentonite, barite etc.
  • The fill, vent and discharge lines are easily accessible.
  • The pressure relief valve provides safe unloading.
  • The interior is designed to allow dry material to flow out under air pressure.
  • The silo is equipped with 3” aeration coupling with air pad/air jet system as per requirements.
  • Manholes are located at bottom for easy access.
  • Vertical/Horizontal skid.

  • All steel welded construction from SA 36/SA 516 Gr70 eqvt steel plates.
