OUR COMMITMENT TO WELL-BEING: SUCCESS IN SAFETY

We maintain an unwavering pledge to a safety-first culture. It begins first by selecting our contractors to ensure they meet our strict standards.

We invest time upfront to ensure all personnel that enter a fieldwork location and all our premises undergo a site orientation to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety expectations, and they are required to participate in related in-service meetings periodically thereafter. We monitor job sites to ensure compliance with all safety protocols. We strongly encourage anyone to report suspect practices or violations of company policies without fear of retaliation. When it comes to safety, we don’t just say it, we mean it.

IDEC is committed to protecting the environment and its employees, clients and stakeholders from possible adverse health and environmental effects of our products, activities and wastes, as well as conducting our business in an environmentally responsible manner. Additionally, we are committed to a strategy of pollution prevention.

our commitment to drive improvement through mitigating the environmental impacts from our operations is integral to our overall strategy.

Central to our strategy is an approach that evaluates the effectiveness of the sustainable environmental practices within our operations, our supply chain and how we partner with our customers to achieve their environmental and social impact goals.

All IDEC employees must adhere to applicable environmental regulations, both governmentally issued and those encompassed in the IDEC environmental policies and procedures, such as the IDEC QHSE Policy.

To achieve these ends IDEC sets and reviews environmental objectives and targets. The Company provides the necessary training for all its employees to ensure that they have the knowledge and capability to conduct Company operations in a manner that is consistent with these requirements.

IDEC will provide the necessary resources to ensure implementation of our corporate policy objectives. These goals include, but are not limited to:

  • The minimization of discharges to the environment.
  • The continual reduction of the volume of waste generated.
  • The production and sale of products that minimize the risk to both the natural environment and to human health.
  • The adequate research and timely communication of any known hazards of IDEC products/systems to persons/organizations that may be significantly affected by such hazards.
  • The forthcoming communication of relevant environmental information to suppliers, clients, employees and regulatory agencies.
  • The compliance with all applicable environmental regulations.
  • The integration of environmental considerations into the Company’s decision-making processes and product/system research and development.

In our short history, we are extremely pleased with our safety and environmental performance, but we don’t stop there; we are continually evaluating methods to reduce occupational and environmental risks with the goal of having zero incidents.
