As the COVID-19 coronavirus continues to spread across the globe and impact of disruptions is unpredictable. With that in mind, we take this opportunity to inform you about our Business Continuity preparations and safeguarding procedures.
We have, so far, taken the following steps to maintain business continuity and combat coronavirus:
- All IDEC offices are continuing business as usual until further notice.
- OFFICE STAFF: All IDEC office staff are provided with laptop and phone to work from home if there is a need. All departments have divided their teams in 2 groups to work on rotation. 50 % of the staff members are working on any given day from office and rest 50% work from home. Rotation cycle is after 3 days for each group.
- PRODUCTION STAFF: All the staff are provided with safety gear with regular monitoring of safely procedures. All the packing items are being sanitized along with the tools used during loading and unloading process. For our production staff, we have made accommodation arrangements to isolate and suspected cases if there is a need.
- Our offices are being enhanced/sanitized thoroughly every day.
- All visitors and staff are being screened everyday
- Medicines are critical items are rationed for all our staff at all the offices and plants
- Frequent communication is being provided to staff to provide with updates on coronavirus and precautions
We will continue to take all necessary measures to maintain business operations while ensuring the health and safety of all personnel and clients involved.
